Self-proclaimed “Brit-hop” duo (and so cute it hurts) Rizzle Kicks’ new track “Down with the trumpets” is something I would love to hear blaring out of someone’s backpack as they drive by on a bike on some dirt road in Cuba. Perferably this “someone” would be both members of this group.

I still can’t get enough of Yelle’s latest album - Safari Disco Club.
It’s like a big bubble floating in the sky that just won’t pop.
Some new mixes of the last single Que Veux Tu were released this week and this one (by the amazingly named kap10kurt from Swizterland) is by far the most epic. It takes that bubble and kicks it into new orbits.

living for the city
After a full week in the bush at my family’s shack on a lake, I’m back in the city refreshed and ready to run! Patrick Wolf’s single “The City” from his new album Lupercalia (which I LOVE) is the soundtrack to my return. The original is good, but this Richard X, Euro-pop reworking gets my leg’s moving in all kinds of directions.
